Udaipur Files Review: My Thoughts on the Film
Udaipur Files Review : The movie Udaipur Files, directed by Bharat Shrinate, is about the terrible true story of the Kanhaiya Lal murder. This isn’t a film you watch for amazing visuals or direction; you watch it because it tells a clear, honest story about a tragedy that shook our whole country.
A Story That Hits Close to Home
The plot follows what actually happened with Kanhaiya Lal’s murder back in June 2022. The film shows you everything that led up to the brutal killing, from the social media post to the national outrage that followed. It’s an honest and direct look at the crime. Many of us know the story, but seeing it on screen helps us understand the timeline of events even better.
The film also brings up a difficult topic about how Hindus and Muslims get along in India. It makes you wonder if the tension shown in the film is really what’s happening or if it’s just something created for political reasons. The movie seems to say that a deep division still exists.
It’s also interesting how easily this film was released without much trouble from the censor board. Because the subject is so sensitive and politically charged, the fact that it got approved so quickly made a lot of people wonder. It looks like the movie’s message fit with a certain political view, which probably made its journey to theaters a lot easier.
The Acting Was Great, but the Direction Was Just Okay
The film’s acting is saved by a few experienced actors. Vijay Raaz is especially powerful. He delivers a performance that you won’t forget, bringing some much-needed depth to this serious topic. Rajneesh Duggall, who used to be a model, also does a very good job and shows his acting skills.
But even with the good actors, the direction by Bharat Shrinate feels pretty average. The writing of the film is also a bit of a disappointment; it doesn’t really use the full emotional power of the real-life story.
Final Thoughts
In the end, Udaipur Files is worth watching once, not because it’s a great movie, but because it’s important to know the facts. It serves as a strong reminder of the Kanhaiya Lal murder, a tragic event that is still very fresh in our minds. If you want to understand what happened and who was involved, this film gives you a clear, straightforward account. It’s a film that has more to say through its topic than its actual filmmaking.
